My family does not have insurance. Can I still bring my child in for care?

PedsNow offers affordable self-pay rates for families without insurance. We believe every child deserves high quality healthcare. Find more information on pricing here.

When should we go to the Emergency Room?

While our urgent care center is equipped to handle most minor injuries and illnesses, there are instances when you should head right to Emergency Room. View our helpful tips on Deciding Where to Go, or feel free to call us with specific questions.

What insurances do you accept?

PedsNow participates in most major insurance networks. See the full list of Accepted Insurances here. We encourage you to call your insurance provider ahead of your visit to confirm coverage, as plans may vary.

Will you coordinate care with my child’s pediatrician?

Yes! PedsNow happily coordinates with pediatricians. We understand that a child’s medical home is with their Primary Care Provider, and our goal is to complement –not compete– with that care. We will provide your PCP with a visit summary within 48 hours to ensure continuity of care and better outcomes.

How much will a visit cost?

At the time of your visit, we will verify your insurance and estimate your Urgent Care patient responsibility. Depending on your insurance, you may owe a co-pay, an amount towards your deductible, or co-insurance. We will collect this estimate at check-in. Additional charges are submitted to your insurance. Self-pay patients will need to pay in full at the time of visit, with rates starting at $185. Learn more about pricing and insurance here.

What do I need to bring to the appointment?

We will need a parent or guardian’s Driver’s License or Photo ID, Insurance Card (if you have insurance), and payment for the insurance co-pay. If you intend to self-pay, payment is due at the time of treatment. It’s also a good idea to have a list of current medications, past surgeries and medical conditions, and any allergies.
