PedsNow is Southeast Georgia’s first urgent care clinic specifically for kids and young adults. We aim to fill the gap between primary care and the emergency room by providing an affordable and convenient option for immediate pediatric care. Our clinic is open 7 days a week, with extended evening and weekend hours. We offer labs and X-rays on-site, and can quickly treat most childhood injuries and illnesses. Get the care your child needs in a compassionate and comforting setting.

Dr. Anthony Ricketts

Dr. Anthony Ricketts

Pediatrician, Co-Founder

Dr. Anthony Ricketts received his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria and completed his pediatric training at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York. Prior to starting PedsNow!, Dr. Ricketts worked in numerous capacities in the healthcare field. He was the Medical Director at the Frederiksted Health Center and Hospital Board Chair at The Juan Luis Hospital in St. Croix US Virgin Islands. He is also the owner/founder of the Pediatric Care Center, Virgin Islands Pediatric Specialties and the Promed Clinics. Dr. Ricketts has over 30 years of clinical experience, is a strong advocate for children with special needs, and has served in multiple locations, including Trinidad, Dominica, and the British Virgin Islands.

Dr. Ricketts enjoys continuing his medical education and has a keen interest in medical practice management and information technology.

Dr. Phillip O. Ajayi

Dr. Phillip O. Ajayi

Pediatrician, Co-Founder

Dr. Phillip O. Ajayi was born in Lagos Nigeria, West Africa. He attended the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos. He completed residency in Pediatrics at the New York–Presbyterian Hospital. In November 2001, he moved to Liberty County in Georgia with the desire to assist, educate, promote and provide additional support to the area’s pediatric medical care. He began laying his pediatric foundation while working at Liberty Regional Medical Center. Dr. Ajayi committed his Pediatric knowledge, compassion and desire to help meet the community’s needs by opening Phillips Pediatrics in February 2002. He received the 2018 “Senator Glenn Bryant Award” for his unwavering Community Service from the Liberty County Democratic Party, and was also named Liberty County’s “Best Pediatrician” in 2019.

Dr. Ajayi believes in a holistic approach to pediatric medicine and lives by the philosophy, “We care, God heals.”

Dr. Doug Boudreau

Dr. Doug Boudreau

Pediatrician

Dr. Doug Boudreau attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, earning an MD. He served his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Dr. Boudreau has 22 years of experience as a general pediatrician, taking care of children from birth to young adulthood. He affirms that children are the most precious things in our lives, and he appreciates the opportunity and challenge of helping them and their families successfully navigate some of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Dr. Boudreau enjoys distance running, competing in all distances from the mile to the marathon as well as coaching distance runners. He enjoys playing soccer and coaching youth soccer.

Dr. Boudreau and his wife Sabine support and participate in medical mission work in Haiti. He has five children ranging in age from 26 years old to 1 year old and a large extended family.

Elaine Fabrega, NP

Elaine Fabrega, NP

Nurse Practitioner

Elaine graduated from Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University with her Bachelor’s & Master’s of Nursing. She discovered her passion for pediatrics while attending nursing school and received her certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner shortly after finishing her Master’s program. Elaine began her pediatric nurse practitioner career here at PedsNOW in the Fall of 2022 and has been here since. She loves working in pediatrics and the experience she’s gained at PedsNOW has been wonderful. 

When Elaine is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and their dog. She enjoys long days at the beach, going to music festivals, hiking, and traveling. She looks forward to continuing her journey at PedsNOW and serving all pediatric patients in the community.
